Parents,
Please be aware that Gordon Food Service and other suppliers are having difficulty filling orders. The current supply shortages and shipping delays are impacting the food industry, like everything else we've experienced. Our cafeteria staff is trying their best to make similar substitutions and stick to their printed menu as best they can. Please understand that there will be menu changes that come up, which we will do our best to announce in the buildings. Thank you for your understanding.

Updated COVID and quarantine information can be found here on our district website. Please reach out to a district administrator with any questions you may have. Thank you.

As you prepare for the return of students to school next week, please know that masks will be required on the school bus. This is due to an order previously issued by the CDC requiring that masks be worn on all public transportation, including school busses. Other than on the school bus, masks will not be mandatory in school buildings. If your child is a bus rider (either for school transportation or sports), please make sure they have a mask to wear each day for transportation purposes. No student will be permitted to board a school bus if they are not wearing a mask. Unfortunately, this is not a decision over which we have local control due to the CDC mandate. Thank you.

Just a reminder to students entering Preschool, Kindergarten, 7th grade, 12th grade and those behind on vaccines: immunization records or exemption forms need to be turned into the office at the beginning of the school year. All state required vaccinations need to be up to date by Oct. 1, 2021, or in process with documentation that they are in process from a provider’s office or health department. Otherwise these students will be kept from attending school. Exemption forms are available at both offices if needed. For clarification, this is for all regularly required immunizations. The COVID vaccine is not required. Please reach out to Nurse Hartman at chartman@oldfortschools.org if you have any questions. Thank you.
