What fun it was to celebrate Landon Root today with a Stockader Send-off as he left for Toledo to ring the bell, signifying that he is now Leukemia free! As his shirt said, “Cancer picked the wrong kid!” Way to go, Landon! See pics and video below!

After a delicious spaghetti lunch at our JH/HS, community veterans enjoyed a wonderful Veteran’s Day program at our Elementary this afternoon. There were record numbers of veterans in attendance, which was amazing! The audience was addressed by Korean War veteran Harry Burroughs who told of his training and deployment in the early 50’s.
Thank you to all of the brave men and women who have served our country. Our sincerest gratitude to veterans and their families who made the ultimate sacrifice so we can be and remain free. And thank you to those in attendance today who helped instill in our young men and women a reverence for our country and the utmost respect for those who defend it. Thanks for being a part of leaving that legacy in Old Fort!

REMINDER - Picture retakes will be tomorrow, November 10th for all students grades 7-12! If your student already bought pictures but wants retakes, please be sure to BRING your old pictures back to give to the photographers. Any questions, please call the HS office.
